Mindfulness-Based Stress Management

Stress is unavoidable as the pace of everyday life increases. Have you ever found yourself living on "auto pilot," disconnected from simple joys, in a state of physical, emotional, or psychological reactivity? We may find ourselves rushing to the next task, missing meals, or even engaging in destructive behaviors to avoid the discomfort of the worry and anxiety we experience. It is not surprising that surveys show that 75% of all doctor visits are related to stress.

The benefits of completing a mindfulness-based stress management program or individual mentoring sessions at Contemplative Arts include increased focus and productivity, improved communication in relationships, healing trauma, and experiencing overall well-being. Through simple and effective stress management techniques based on the practice of mindfulness meditation, you can learn how to cultivate non-judgmental awareness that liberates you from reactivity and enhances your ability to care for yourself and others. Isn't it time that you rediscover the simple joys of life?
